04-27-2009 ultraviolet eyesight
This is my attempt at portraying how an insect, primarily bees, might see. I know it isn’t correct, but it does make for an interesting viewpoint. The above photo is within our viewable portion of the spectrum. Below, is something different altogether!

I am aware there are infrared films available and think it would be an interesting experiment to try. We shutterbugs thrive in and worship light, but our perceptions are very narrow when compared to the overall spectrum we are bathed in everyday.
