With all respect for your image, the foreground is out of focus and very blurred. Is the tree in the middle, your focal point or is the gazebo? The picture is just Okay. You have shot some interesting things. You do have a fine eye for detail, so keep taking pictures.
I really wasn’t extremely happy with this one. The bandstand is located on an island of trees in the middle of a “roundabout” (Circular traffic pattern.) The view is the same from all sides. Short of endangering my health and limbs by standing in traffic,
this… is what i got.
One of the aspects of film is that you are committed to the image, digital gives you instant results, and if you don’t like what you see… no foul! Film doesn’t allow that luxury, and so i believe this was a good shot for what i could manage at the time.
Thanks for the comments!
really nice dreamy effect.
I like the “through the brush” look of the gazebo. Interesting big tree and the slanting branches.
A lovely scene and you’ve really focused in on the gazebo nicely. I like how it’s framed out with the growth. Nice, subtle colors too.
