07-24-2009 30% chance….

Have you ever noticed that when there is a 30% chance of rain, what is really meant is… there is a snowball’s chance in Halifax?
Yet, if you were playing the lottery, them’s respectable odds of winning… SOMETHING. When there hasn’t been rain for an extended period of time, ya tend to look at the sky and suspect that there might be something wrong with it…

When I’d first “gone digital” and was learning all those nifty different little programs & settings, the ever present cloud coverage was a ready made subject. But NOW, I’ve discovered just HOW MANY images of those unproductive clouds have been captured from the sky above, and reside just as unproductively on my hard drive.

Hey, clouds…no more! Time to get busy, we need some rain down here! And I’m telling you to put in some Overtime too!

I never tire of cloud shots… of course I’m not hoping for rain either. 🙂 I especially like the collage of many tiny cloud shots. Nice post.
