11-05-2009 Panna Maria
Established in December of 1854, Panna Maria, Texas is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the “Oldest Polish Settlement in the United States”. The emigrants from Upper Silesia Poland, built this church two years after their arrival and dedicated it to the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
It is a beautiful structure inside as well, only i was trying to not look like a tourist…. so I haven’t any images of the interior.

Your use of the light to emphasize the planes of this lovely building is excellent. These two images have a very spare, clean graphic character that I really admire.
