Wow! Is it really the third day of my “West Texas Adventure” already? If all is going as planned, I should be inching my way toward the Southeast Rim of the Chisos Mountain range (elev. 7,375′). This is a sheer escarpment of the high section of the mountains. The view should encompass thousands of square miles of desert and mountains looking deep into Mexico… Today’s selection is from a trip to Nacogdoches, Texas, where the Piney Woods are harvested for the lumber you see at your favorite home improvement center…
