San Pedro Springs Park

Today’s post is about the color green, (or the lack thereof). San Pedro Springs Park has always been a favorite place of mine to spend an afternoon. A place to enjoy the ancient oaks and the shade they provide on a hot day. The garden plantings and pavilions, and the cool water percolating up from the aquifer beneath our feet. But this historical location, from which San Antonio was founded, is not immune to the deficit of water we continue to endure.
The above color image was taken on February 19, 2010, clicking the image should open the San Pedro Springs Park Page in a new window.
