04-18-2009 the verticals are winning


Bamboo is grass, albeit the world’s fastest growing species of grasses. It has been known to grow over 12 inches a day, reaching heights of over 100 feet in a single growing season. I hadn’t noticed before, but each vertical segment seems to be the same length. which would make estimating the height of a plant quite easy. This stand was aproximately a little over 26 feet tall….
