Nice river shot of these interesting rock formations. Strange looking and very
eye-catching.
cool. are those cairns there to mark a trail or something else or just
there for decoration?
In such a swift current, I believe the cairns suggest reasonably safe places to remain standing or even swim. It may also mark something next to it. I found that aft of a large boulder with cairn, someone had fashioned a stone chair underwater.

As I explored this location known as the Swimming Area, I found there is an abundance of both round and flat river stones. Which led me to think of Andy Goldsworthy and his incredible sculptured cairns. This place is perfect for the task.
